The Ice Hotel is located in the village Jukkasjärvi in Lapland, Sweden The hotel was first built in 1990.
Necessary Ice Blocks are Collected From the Torne River in Sweden. About 1000 tones would be required for this.
With a temperature of -5 ° C, all the furniture, walls and the amenities including restaurant and church, all are made up of Ice!
There are around 55 rooms.
The hotel is renovated year-round!
It will open by mid-December and operate until March.
Then it slowly melts away!
