There are trips.
There are camps.
And then there was Strangers Things.
On February 21st, 2026, our guests arrived at a beautiful resort in Wayanad with one common feeling, curiosity. They did not know each other. Different backgrounds. Different stories. Different energies. But that was exactly the point.
A Warm Welcome to a New Beginning
We welcomed everyone with a refreshing welcome drink and gave them time to settle into their rooms and freshen up. The calm atmosphere of the Wayanad resort, the cool breeze, and the peaceful surroundings instantly set the mood.
This was not just another travel and tourism experience. This was a Strangers Camp designed to build real human connection.
Theatrical Storytelling Session That Broke the Ice
As the evening light softened, we gathered in an open space for what we called the Theatrical Storytelling Session.
But this was not a normal introduction round.
Two participants exchanged their phones. Each person had to observe and understand the other by looking at their latest photo and then speak about them. What started as nervous laughter slowly turned into hilarious guesses, surprising observations, and heartfelt words.
It was funny. It was real. It was raw.
And within that one session, strangers started seeing each other beyond names and faces.
This beautiful session was led by Gokul Raj, who made everyone feel comfortable and involved.
The Game That Connected Everyone
Next came a fun and thrilling game called Killer. The energy shifted instantly. Laughter grew louder. People started interacting naturally. By the end of it, something had changed.
They were not strangers anymore.
When the Rain Became a Memory
Then something unexpected happened.
It rained.
The first rain of the year.
Instead of running away, we embraced it. The cool rain added magic to the evening. It felt like nature itself wanted to be part of Strangers Things.
Soon after, it was pool time. Everyone jumped in, laughed, splashed around, and enjoyed without hesitation. Moments like these are what make Kerala Tourism so special. The blend of nature, weather, and human connection creates something unforgettable.
Tea, Music, and a Night to Remember
After a relaxed tea break and casual conversations, the night slowly came alive.
The music session began with a guitar. Soft strumming turned into group singing. One by one, our strangers picked up the courage to sing. The atmosphere was filled with warmth, rhythm, and togetherness.
It did not feel like a planned program. It felt like friends enjoying a night together.
Dinner followed with a carefully arranged menu that everyone loved. Conversations flowed naturally across tables.
The Highlight Session That Left Everyone Speechless
The biggest surprise of the night was the Dopamine and Mentalism session conducted by renowned mentalists Sreemadh Sir and Mohammed Rafi Sir.
Every act was unpredictable. Every moment brought surprise. The way they connected psychology, performance, and audience interaction left everyone amazed. There were gasps, laughter, and complete silence during certain moments.
No one expected what was coming next. That was the beauty of it.
It was not just entertainment. It was an experience.
A Peaceful Night and a Magical Morning
After a long and fulfilling day, everyone went to sleep in the cool Wayanad climate.
The next morning welcomed us with misty clouds and a peaceful atmosphere. The view from the resort felt like a painting. Fresh air. Calm silence. A perfect reminder of why Wayanad resorts are loved by travelers.
We enjoyed a delicious breakfast together. Conversations felt deeper now. Comfort was visible. Smiles were natural.
After a few light sessions and group moments, it was time to close the camp.
But this ending did not feel like a goodbye.
It felt like the beginning of new friendships.
Strangers Things Was More Than a Camp
Strangers Things was not just another event under travel and tourism. It was a thoughtfully curated Strangers Camp that showed how powerful human connection can be when given the right space.
From welcome drinks to storytelling, from rain to pool time, from music night to mentalism, every moment had meaning.
As part of our journey with Kerala Tourism experiences, we at Tripeat believe in creating camps that go beyond sightseeing. We focus on connection, emotion, and memories.
On February 21 and 22, 2026, strangers arrived at a Wayanad resort.
They left as a tribe.
And this is just the beginning of many more Strangers Things.
